Welcome to Bethany!

Bethany Lutheran School provides the secure, nurturing environment that elementary school-age children need to explore and experiment.  Our Christian-based programs strive to instill a life-long love of learning and a quest for knowledge among elementary school students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Our reading program uses sight words, contextual clues, and phonics.  The goal of our math program is to develop a solid foundation through hands-on experiences and discussion.  Students learn to excel in solving problems, engaging ideas and creating solutions.  Our students become active thinkers, makers and explorers of ideas.  In different areas of curriculum we are engaging students by what is comfortable to them through the use of technology.

Students are taught in self-contained classrooms with areas of departmentalization in music, computers, physical education and library. 

Students annually celebrate a variety of traditional and special events. Parents are welcome to participate in class activites.

At Bethany we believe in quality education with a tradition of excellence. We've provided strong Christian education from Preschool through 5th grade since 1957. We are a state accredited school with certified teachers. We are located near the intersection of I-235 & South Seneca, in Wichita, Kansas.
